  2. Al jitomate le quitamos las semillas y lo cortamos de la misma forma...
  3. En una olla ponemos un chorrito de aceite y sofreímos la cebolla. Y al estar transparente la cebolla agregamos el ajo..
  4. Sofreímos y movemos bien sin llegar a quemar el ajo para que no se amargue. Y agregamos la zanahoria y apio
  5. Mezclamos por al rededor de 3 minutos y agregamos el jitomate y el agua. Cuando empiece a hervir agregamos las hojas de albahaca, sal y verificamos sazón. Nota. Si los jitomates no están muy maduros o rojos, podemos agregar un poquito de puré de tomate para darle más color.
  6. Dejamos que la salsa se reduzca y cocine por al rededor de 10 a 15 minutos a fuego bajo y tapado. Antes de apagar verificar sazón nuevamente. Servir o reservar según el platillo que elaboren.
